Some concerts still invoke conversation many years later. Sometimes it is the breathtaking performance of an artist we talk about; sometimes it is the concert location, an unexpected musical combination, a feeling, or the atmosphere. Sometimes it is all of these things... And if you’ve ever been to one of our concerts, probably all of these things and more.
Each one of our concerts, by its originating concept, falls outside the norms of the usual concert and cultural event paradigms. A concert could be a performance of classical music, with tens of thousands of people attending. It could be a jazz concert on a dock where people eat balık ekmek (a popular Turkish street food that resembles a fish sandwich) while enjoying the show. It could just as well be a recital in a house that only fıts a hundred.
